This is a review of the restaurant and bar only as weve never stayed in a room. The menu, food and service here is always good and its a good venue either for a quick lunch or a more formal evening meal. Its often necessary to book the restaurant (theyre on OpenTable so need to phone), but you can choose whether to sit in one of the restaurant dining rooms or the bar area. The front dining room tends to be quieter for more intimate meals and all areas offer good table service.
Good restaurant. Nicely furnished rooms. Bar lunch times has become a creche full of 20 somethings with small children. No adult child free area.
Visited my friend in the village and he recommended this place. The food was excellent and the staff were very friendly and kind to us. I had the fish and chips and it was excellent! Plus the pie for dessert was great. I look forward to visiting again very soon.
Had a great stay at the coach house. Staff happy to help with all of my questions before and during stay. Breakfast was amazing. A great place to stay and very reasonable for what you get
Hotel is great. But the food/restaurant is poor. The seafood Tagliatelle was awful. I complained but nothing came of it. Seafood was like rubber. And there were green beans in it. I have never had beans in a seafood tagliatelle before. And I hope no chef ever makes that mistake again. Was horrible.
