No frills hotel but comfortable enough for a one night stay.
We've just arrived home after staying here for the night as my sister was getting married. Paulo on the reception was such a lovely young helpful man. From the minute we arrived we were asking for his assistance and he was so helpful and nice all through our stay so thankyou paulo
Easy to find, just off A1 at Sandy. Has an up to date (fast) charger (Polar) for electric cars in the car park - very handy for me. Checked in without problems. Room had pull-across wooden shutters which provided good sound insulation and blacked out the room at night. Don't know if all rooms have this. One light in the room didn't work. The only light in the bathroom didn't work - find it hard to imagine that this wasn't spotted by the service staff. Hot tap on sink extremely stiff, rendering it almost unusable. Shower comes out at a dribble, which seems strange as the pressure seems ok and shower hose didn't seem kinked. Again, should have been spotted by service staff, I think. Slept well though!
As a 3 star hotel I can assure you it isn't on first impressions looks good greeting from staff on counter no problem very curious.Hall ways look very dated and carpets dirtyThe room looks great but it was absolutely filthy bathroom looks like it's had a bit of a makeover but didn't do what should have been done would I I stay again not if you paid me
